Back to Switzerland with Geoff & Shaun.  Unfortunately there was too much snow which stopped us doing many of the intended walks.  We all had a wonderful time despite the rain!

We climbed the Schynigge Platte on Monday with marvellous views of the Eiger, Monch & Jungfrau.  The place was deserted because the trains were not yet running.  Heavy rain for the last two hours of the walk into Bonigen.

On Tuesday we went to Grindelwald and climbed the wooden steps up to the glacier in the rain again.
 

Wednesday was bike ride day with a trip around Lake Brienz, and it didn't rain all the time.
 

On Thursday we walked from Wengen Northwards and then towards Grindelwald across avalanches and landslides.
 

Friday meant a walk from Beatenburg through a tunnel, up the valley and then over the ridge to arrive back in Habkern.  Excellent weather, a superb day to finish on.

We travelled home on Saturday but just caught a final glimpse of the area we had walked in the previous day.
